In 1920, Albin Johansson began to manufacture furniture in Hyssna, thereof the company name Albin i Hyssna. The company soon celebrates 100 years, and its corporate sustainability philosophy has been ongoing since the beginning. Albin i Hyssna feels a responsibility towards coming generations and therefore manufactures furniture that promotes an ecological sustainable development.

Apart from using 100 % certified wood, the company also saws its own parts and continuously strives to minimise the consumption of wood. Albin i Hyssna also encourages its customers to recycling. For instance, the company offers to restore their own furniture. The aim is to manufacture furniture with as long lifetime as possible.
